Home Street
Home Improvers is community-oriented.
In 2007 we donated
time, funds or skills to
Hearts & Hammers
Twin Cities, Northeast Parade,
and St. Louis Park’s
Dollars for Scholars program.
Home Street also participates
in local neighborhood organizations
and has organized neighborhood
clean-ups and block clubs. We also support the
Disabled American Veterans,
Animal Humane Society, the
Wildlife Rehabilitation
Center, and the Union Gospel
Mission.
 Home Street
recently donated a portion
of its services to replace
a roof for a deserving senior
in the Audubon Park neighborhood
of Northeast Minneapolis.
Home Street performed the
roof replacement at the
request of Hearts and Hammers
Twin Cities, a local volunteer
organization which provides
exterior “home rehab” for
deserving homeowners in
the Twin Cities area. Roofing
materials were provided
at a reduced cost by ABC
Supply in Minneapolis. Hearts
and Hammers partners with
local organizations to provide
painting, caulking, siding,
landscape improvements and
more for homeowners who
want to remain in their
homes, but may have a hard
time keeping up with basic
repairs due to physical
and financial limitations.
Home Street was awarded the 2006 Community
Advocate Business Award by the Minneapolis
Regional Chamber of Commerce (MRCC) at their Annual
Member Celebration, for our outstanding
community involvement and its philosophy of consumer
education. Home Street was recognized
as the 2006 Business of the Year by
the Northeast Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce,
for its demonstrated growth and contributions to
the community.
Our newsletter, The Intelligent Homeowner,
educates residents of the Twin Cities Metro area
in home maintenance, choosing a contractor and avoiding
pitfalls in the home improvement process. (Click

Our customers are so satisfied with our
work that Home Street received Angie’s
List Super Service Awards in 2007 and
2006 for superior service rating in the categories
of roofing, windows and gutters. In 2005, we received
the same award in roofing.

a certified GAF/ELK Certified Weather Stopper® Roofing
installer, a member of the National Association
of the Remodeling Industry, and receive continuing
